Sheer’s will leads Colts

October 2nd, 2008 By RICK NOLAND,   Assistant Sports Editor, Medina County Gazette MEDINA — Kyle Sheer scored on a 27-yard run and added a two-point conversion as the Medina Colts junior varsity defeated Highland Green 16-0 Saturday in Wadsworth Youth Football Association action. The Colts (3-2) also scored on a 34-yard pass from Casee Voss to Eric Vinborg, with Mitchell Fashian adding the conversion. The key to the win was the play of offensive linemen Brad Tschannen, Zach Hunter, Connor Gillespie, Alex McMullen, Adam Meier, Will Freeman and J.T. Paris.

Colts Alum Shotwell Breaks Record at Univ of Michigan
	MORE ON MYFA ALUM!!! Shotwell Posts NCAA Provisional Mark KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Sophomore Frank Shotwell (Medina, Ohio, Medina HS) set a new personal record and posted an NCAA provisional mark of 7,077 in the decathlon Thursday afternoon (April 10) at the Sea Ray Relays on Tom Black Track. Shotwell's fourth-place finish was good enough for second all-time in U-M history!
